Winter doesn’t have to mean losing your cycling edge. With our Ride Ready Women Winter Training Plan – starting January 6th, you’ll stay strong and set yourself up for your best rides ever. We’ll tackle the cold months together (January, February, March) with a solid plan designed to keep you motivated, accountable, and connected.

This is for all the gravel crushers, mountain shredders, and road warriors out there—basically, anyone who wants to feel stronger, ride faster, climb like a goat, and crush it on all the adventures ahead. Let’s make winter your secret weapon!

What This Plan Is (and Isn’t):
This is a training plan designed for female athletes—not a personalized coaching program. It’s a structured guide featuring high-intensity intervals on the bike, endurance workouts, and strength training sessions. We understand that every athlete has unique needs, schedules, and time constraints. This plan is built with flexibility in mind, serving as an ideal week of training to help you progress toward your fitness goals. It’s okay if life happens and some workouts get skipped!

Think of this as a roadmap to maximize your training and build fitness, ensuring you’re ready to hit the ground running (or pedaling!) when spring arrives.

Here are the nitty gritty details: 12 Week Training Plan

🏋️‍♀️ Weekly Training Breakdown

  • 3–4 Indoor Bike Workouts to boost your endurance, power, and confidence. Each workout is delivered via TrainingPeaks and lasts 60–90 minutes. These are ‘on your own’ style sessions, perfect for independent training.
  • An Outdoor Endurance Ride Option for those sunny winter days.
  • 2 Strength Workouts tailored to cyclists—helping you prevent injuries, build strength, and feel unstoppable. This includes a warm up, core work & strength.
  • A Weekly Mobility Session that blends science and practice to improve flexibility and resilience, keeping you moving like the athlete you are.

🤝 Accountability & Connection

  • A quick monthly email check-in with me (your coach) to keep you on track and supported or answer any questions you may have.
  • Extra option: Join 1 of Our Weekly *Live* Online Strength Classes where we train together. (Wednesday or Friday mornings)
  • AND BONUS A Monthly Group Online Bike Workout—Join me live via Zoom for a small, personal session with other women. It’s an opportunity to connect, train, and grow along side a supportive community. (Date TBD)
