Meet Larry Foss

Founder & Head Coach at The Fix

In the late 80’s, Larry took his first step into the world of cycling with the purchase of a mountain bike, aiming to explore deeper into the woods for hunting. The very next day, an impromptu decision to enter a local MTB race sparked a lifelong passion for both cycling and human performance.

This newfound interest led to a deep dive into coaching, complemented by earning a massage therapist license to better understand athletes’ bodies. Just one day after graduating from massage therapy school, Larry found himself working with the Olympic Cycling Team, traveling the world and gaining invaluable experience along the way.

Throughout the years, Larry has immersed himself in every aspect of cycling, working with professional teams and the USA national team as both a soigneur and coach. His journey has taken him to multiple Olympics, World Championships, and World Cups.

In the early 2000s, The Fix Studio was born as a one-man operation. A short time later, a partnership with Sophie from Montreal brought the shared vision to life. Together, their mission has always been clear: to equip everyday athletes with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to achieve their cycling and life goals. Today, that mission remains the same, even as the studio has evolved into what is now Fix 2.0.

The move from Minnehaha has allowed a renewed focus on what truly matters: YOU, the everyday athlete. It’s also provided more time to reconnect with that first passion—riding bikes.

At The Fix, the goal is simple: to offer coaching expertise, provide guidance, and inspire athletes to tackle any event, goal, or race on the horizon. Let’s achieve greatness together.
